LOLA GANZAROLLI aka Lola G. is a British-Russian soprano, singer-songwriter, performing and recording artist, who is grateful to have been a part of St Mary Abbots’ community since 2014. London has been her home ever since she won a full scholarship to come to study in the UK at the age of 15 at the Purcell School, after attending the Gnessin’s School in Moscow. Lola continued her music training at the Guidhall School of Music & Drama (Piano performance, BMus with 1st Class Honours) with Professor Emeritus James Gibb and also at the Royal Academy of Music (Singing, Post-Graduate, LRAM). As a classical artist, Lola has performed in the UK, USA, Italy, France, Russia and South Africa; in London at the QEH, Canada House, the Foreign Office, Gray’s Inn, Garrick Club, Chelsea Arts Club, Spenser House, Caledonian Club & Haywards Heath Library and other venues.
Lola is most grateful to her voice coach, Italian bass Maestro Danilo Rigosa, who helped her find her voice also in writing her own music.
As singer-songwriter and recording artist, Lola has recently released Undreamt Dreams, which is receiving great reviews and was recorded in Fano, Italy and mastered at the Abbey Road Studios in London. Undreamt Dreams is Lola’s first official album of original songs and her third studio recording to date. Lola loves to combine her passion for Russian & Italian classical music with writing her own songs, which are a fusion of pop, jazz, classical & film music, captivating the audiences with their heartfelt lyrics and luscious beautiful melodies.
Lola has just joined the young artist program of the Peace & Prosperity Trust. Future plans include concerts in China, a tour in Asia, promoting her Undreamt Dreams album with her band, as well as concerts in London and Italy, presenting her album, selected covers and new songs from the follow up album that Lola’s currently working on.
