MUMS in MUSIC
MiM • MUMS in MUSIC is a global initiative started by soprano Lola Ganzarolli, as featured in her article in Classical Music Magazine in March 2026, to celebrate the artistry of mums worldwide, create collaborative performances and projects across music and the arts, nurturing — and calling for — more support of artistic excellence through motherhood.
“We need to call time on women having to be like men to succeed.”
MiM was introduced publicly at A Journey Through Music & Motherhood, an intimate afternoon of original songs for voice and piano at St James’s Church, London, on 1 May 2026, and in a full feature in Classical Music Magazine UK in March 2026, which reflects on motherhood and artistic identity and on Lola’s return to the concert stage.
