Lola G. Showcase:
Lola brings elegance, a glamorous and bespoke touch to any special occasion with her beautiful soprano voice and pure lyric warm timbre.
Her versatile repertoire spans operatic performances, classical opera & jazz crossover fusions, a rich selection of Russian, English and Italian vocal repertoire, as well as her own original songs and lyrics.
She enjoys creating an immersive musical journey inspired by her love of Puccini and Rachmaninov, the magic of film soundtracks, and the timeless allure of classic films and jazz standards. Lola performs both solo and in collaboration with other artists, like the exceptionally talented jazz pianist Tomasz Bura.
Recently, the duo captivated audiences in Italy with “A Night of Gershwin, Golden-Age Hollywood Classics & More.” Their emotionally resonant program featured timeless classics like Gershwin’s “The Man I Love” and “Summertime,” Mancini’s “Moon River,” Arlen’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and Solovyov-Sedoi’s “Moscow Nights.” The performances were further enriched by Lola’s original compositions, including “Meeting in Time,” “Angelica,” and “You’re My Sunshine.” The result is a refined musical experience that captures the essence of the golden era, reimagined with a contemporary twist.
Lola’s upcoming performance and projects include recording of her new album of songs, recording selected Russian songs from the 1940-70 films, and a tour of concerts in India, starting with the performance at the National Centre of Performing Arts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
