Puccini meets Gershwin

Opera arias, Gershwin & Hollywood classics, selected standards and popular songs

Lola Ganzarolli

Artist biography (PDF)

Lola Ganzarolli, soprano, and Tomasz Bura, piano — where operatic elegance meets jazz improvisation.

A musical journey from Italian opera to the Great American Songbook: Puccini arias side by side with Gershwin, the unforgettable melodies of Hollywood’s golden age and a selection of standards and popular songs, in sophisticated jazz arrangements — and, on request, Lola’s own original songs.

Under this title the duo has captivated audiences across Italy, with Gershwin’s The Man I Love and Summertime, Mancini’s Moon River, Arlen’s Over the Rainbow and Solovyov-Sedoi’s Moscow Nights, alongside Lola’s Meeting in Time, Angelica and You’re My Sunshine.
